Non Sequitur *: Mission Style Sofa Table

Non Sequitur *: Mission Style Sofa Table: "Voila! My most recent woodworking project. This table is 11 3/4' wide, 72' long long and 32' tall.
It's made from white oak. The white oak was recovered from the old High School before it was torn down. Total effort to construct: 25 hours.
The finish is: Dye stain, Pigment Stain (this brings out the 'rays' in the wood), boiled linseed oil (table top only), then a wipe on polyurethane.
The table will be used in our family room. It matches the style of all of our furniture.

I bought the Makita Planer in January. I love it. I got the Freud saw blade in March. What an amazing difference for my 1HP Craftsman Tablesaw."

What an awesome table. Ths is what I'm stiving for.
